mmm both? It's for the Projects Development class, and I said I'd do tons of environemnt and character concepts for mine. Becky's in charge of it this quarter, and she's super lenient in subject matter. xD
You're lucky. I really miss her and Piper. I think Piper would be good here. The CA students are so spoiled. they have this huge building where nobody in the other majors are allowed (cept me cause I'm a sneak and like to go up there in constant risk of getting murdered and chopped up into pieces so I can be hidden in the floor boards) and they make some of the coolest shit. i'm so jealous.
Once I'm reunited with animation again, I'm never gonna' let it go. I'm actually looking into stop-motion, though. For some reason I've been drawn more to it than hand-drawn and 3D.
idk what 9 is, but Piper's taking our storyboarding class to a 3D showing of Coraline, and one of the people who worked on it is coming to our class to talk and omfffawesome.
yeah - hopefully I'll make better than a C this time, but idk. I NEED TO SHOW YOU - our group project has a villain. And he's very tall. And says that things are cliche. I'll scan it soon.
either way, it's badass and I'm totally jealous because I know I need to be doing stuff like this and I haven't been.
ps. dreamworks will love you for all the environment designs you include in your portfolio

ps. this is still awesome.
have you seen previews for 9?
NOT F-CKING FAIR!
you need to look up 9 on youtube and watch the damn trailer...and the short animation the movie is based off of. It will blow your mind.
at least I hope it will.
